North District Age Group Champs in Inverness on 3+4/03/07 (25/03/07)

Well we've never had anyone qualify for the District Age Group Championships before so it was a bit of a surprise to find that this year we had 4 qualifiers!

Andrew Whyte was the only Otter to make the trip though and he was rewarded with a personal best in the 100 breaststroke.  Next year we hope that Andrew will qualify in a few more events and have some company other than Lynn and his mum and dad.

Well done Andrew for making the grade!

City of Glasgow Long Course Graded Meet at Tolcross on 03/02/07 (25/03/07)

First time experience in a big pool for everyone and didn't we do well?

Douglas Fraser, Jordan McPherson, Jennifer Pirie, Eilidh Macdonald, Laurence Alderton, Andrew Jessiman, Ellie Shields, Nathan McLean and Andrew Whyte were representing Alford Otters and there were some sparkling performances from everyone with some times faster than short course personal bests - this is great although perhaps it tells us that we should still be working on our turns!

Andrew Whyte won bronze in the 100 breaststroke, Nathan MacLean was twice placed (in the 100 free and 100 back) and Ellie was too fast in the 50 freestyle.  Well done everyone.
